Welcome to Building a Presence for Science in Ohio. Building a Presence for Science (BaP) is the largest networking initiative of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). This award-winning program is designed to improve the teaching and learning of science from kindergarten through 12th grade in participating states across America. Our mission is to achieve science
literacy for all students through standards-based teaching and learning,
supported by a network of Key Leaders serving Points of Contact in every
school building in Ohio. If you are a teacher of science
in Ohio we hope you will join us. This
general information sheet will provide some
information about BaP Ohio and may be freely shared. SECO District
Directors are serving as Super Key Leaders in the ten SECO districts.
Please refer to the map of Ohio to determine
in which SECO district you live or work, and contact
your SECO District Directors to help promote and market BaP Ohio in
your geographical region.
